08/18/2022- Latest Express Entry draw

On September 14, 2022, a new draw of Express Entry invitation was held by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The draw of this round is cut off on score 511, a total of 3250 candidates have been invited. It invited candidates from all categories, including the federal Canadian Experience Class, Federal skilled-Worker Class, Federal Skilled-trade, and those Provincial Nominated Program in Express Entry stream.

This is the sixth round of draw since all category’s invitation resumed in July. Compared with the previous round, this round is issue more 500 invitations, however, the score is decrease slower in just 5 score difference. This indicated that there is a greater amount of candidates in between 510-520, and it would takes more time to clear it.

Before this invitation, the data on September 12 showed that there were 6,636 candidates with scores above 500 in the EE pool, of which 6,228 were in the 501-600 score segment. After taking 3,250 people out this time, and considering that there are a few high-scoring candidates entering the pool, it is estimated that the next invitation score line will be lower than 510, but it will still be above 500.
